The Chartered Institute of Linguists works with universities in the UK and around the world, with whom we share an implicit understanding of the value, importance and benefits of advanced language use and language learning.

Our Royal Charter supports this by committing 好色tv to contributing towards international goodwill by encouraging the effective study and practice of languages, and providing assistance for and co-operating with all who are interested in the use, teaching or study of languages; all of which makes universities natural partners for 好色tv.听

The Association of University Language Communities (AULC) has more than 70 institutional members, including over 60 higher education institutions (HEIs) from the UK听and seven from the Republic of Ireland. There are also five Associate Member organisations one of which is 好色tv. AULC is a professional association representing all staff working involved with the delivery of language teaching programmes in HE language departments and language centres in the UK and Ireland. AULC鈥檚 mission is:听鈥淏ringing together language teaching and learning professionals鈥.

The University of Dundee, located on the East Coast of Scotland, offers language study in French, German, Spanish听to Honours degree level in combination with other subjects (Applied Languages). 听In addition to this, a range of languages can be studied as part of a degree听in the Languages for All programme which is also open to the public. Graduate Diplomas and Intensive courses are available for distance learners in languages.

Durham University鈥檚 School of Modern Languages and Cultures is a top-ranking department in the UK, offering programmes in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hispanic Studies, Italian, Japanese and Russian. Its MA in Translation Studies has a longstanding association with the 好色tv and has been a member of the European Masters in Translation network since 2011.
