For Member and Fellow applications please make sure you have all the evidence required by our membership admissions criteria听including details of your referees, before completing your application.
If you are seeking Chartered status alongside your Member or Fellow application, please remember you will need to include evidence of your CPD and a reflective statement setting out your commitment to maintaining, developing and enhancing your linguistic excellence and upholding professional standards.
Step 3听鈥� Payment
- Student Affiliate听membership is free
- Study Affiliate听applications must听be accompanied by the annual membership fee of听拢30 payable as part of the online application process听
- Career Affiliate, Associate,听Member听and听Fellow听applications must be accompanied by an assessment fee of 拢30, payable as part of the online application process
If you're also seeking chartership alongside your Member or Fellow application, please remember you will need to include evidence of your CPD and听a reflective statement.
What next?
Receipt of your听application will be acknowledged and assessment听will听begin directly. Please do not submit your application unless you have all the evidence required, including for Member and听Fellow applications the details of your referees.
Career Affiliate, Associate,听Member听and听Fellow听applications - we aim to advise you of the outcome within six weeks of submission, Student and Study Affliates much sooner. If your application is successful we will let you know the annual fee you need to pay in order to activate your membership.
